The 37 SHS disciplines included in the revised SHS curriculum are listed by NaCCA.

One of the most notable aspects of the new Senior High School (SHS) curriculum, according to NaCCA, would be the reduction of topics from 63 to 37 as it moves towards subject-area-based learning.

During a speech, the Director-General of NaCCA emphasised the introduction of flexible routes that allow students to follow their interests and abilities and the inclusion of physical education as a topic that may be examined.
At the ceremony, he said, "Furthermore, the curriculum places a strong emphasis on STEM education, integrating interactive, practical exercises and remedial assistance to foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts."

September of this year will see the implementation of the new Senior High School (SHS) curriculum, according to Professor Edward Appiah, Director-General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment.
